Hammertime Tournaments presents Hammertime Extremely Local Leagues (HELL). You’re probably wondering, “what is HELL?”.
Well, HELL – short leagues designed to get you into your local games store and play some fun tournament-style games. Whether you’re new to Warhammer 40,000, looking to practise a new army, or itching to throw dice between seasons of the BC League*, HELL is where you’re supposed to be.

How does a league work?
League is meant to be both a beginner and competitive-friendly format for Warhammer 40k. Our goal is to get as many people in and playing the game regardless of painting. Unlike a one or two-day tournament, where you are committing to upwards of five games of Warhammer in a weekend, a Warhammer League takes place over a specified period. This allows for participants to complete their matches within that timeframe, generally two weeks, and report their score.
What to Expect?
- Beginner friendly league – no paint scores!
- 50% of league fees go back into prize support.
- Dedicated times for games at local games stores; players can arrange matches on their own time if required
- Penticton, Kelowna, and Vernon divisions to keep games local!
